Hello everybody. I have a 2007 SS 2.4 and i recently installed an inexpensive Pacesetter mid-length header. I had to modify the factory downpipe to work with the header, but it hangs a little too low and scrapes the ground in certain areas.

I have done a bit of searching for an aftermarket downpipe that will keep the exhaust tucked up in the floorboard with no success. I am just wondering if there is a downpipe available that will work without modification. Thank you.

 

ya there should be one, how many bolts are in the flange connecting the header to the DP 2 or 3?

 

It is a 2 bolt flange, 2.5" collector.
