2.4 na
I believe so, i think they are pretty close from the factory, but with your mods you should win, or it will be a drivers race. lol
but thats me, Im going off of what I have heard.
what year SI, mods?

I also want to put a different exhaust tip on my gmpp catback when i get it. if the inlet size is 2.25 i shouldnt have any problems correct?
this is the tip

tune is a computer thing, not a motor thing. It will tune how your computer controls how the drivetrain acts such as fuel trim levels, spark timing, shift points, etc. It will tune how your transmission and engine and every subsystem performance wise reacts.
I'd invest in some camshafts if you're that hellbent on beating him.
Whoever said 5 SPD > Auto in drag racing environment has obviously not faced a driver that knows how to launch his auto. I beat a SS/SC 5 Spd 2 seperate times by 2 car lengths and I pretty much chalked that up to driver vs driver because his car was faster than mine (By about 40 horses)

Yes when it comes to drag racing auto = consistency which = winning.
But I raced an SI a while back and I was able to hang with him for 1st and part of 2nd. But after that he began pulling away pretty decently. Granted I was untuned. But I did have intake and exhaust. The 4t45s 3rd gear just falls on its face too hard when its NA.
And while yes the op has upgrades they arent the best performing ones. So I honestly dont see the op winning. His only chance is a good launch and hoping the si driver can drive worth a damn.
And hammbones if you raced an SS/SC and your an auto then you shut down early or arent NA. As I sit im probably a 15.4-15.5 car and its the same deal. 1st and 2nd I can hang. 3rd gear they flat out walk me. If your an auto your down more than just 40hp. Due to higher drivetrain losses as well as less performance oriented gearing. Our 3rd gear kills us period.
I said if hes an auto he wont win. a full bolt on and tune 2.4 auto runs a similar 1/4 to an SI but with a lower trap.

The guy I beat even went to my Dyno and said he was incredibly shocked at my numbers (Being as high as they were)
I usually only mess with the Scion tC's or Civic's and its generally pretty close. My buddy has an Acura RSX Type R and he's just about the same as far as racing goes. I was looking at some videos and builds around the forums and youtube and ran accross a 317whp turbo 2.4L on stock internals with a mildly aggressive tune. I think he ran a mid 12 at 105+, I'd have to look at it again to be sure.
My next stage is Camshafts, Poly Trans mounts or torque dampener, header, and finally a 60 trim Garrett Turbo.
The guy walks on me after 80 MPH. I usually walk on him through first and second, third gear he catches me and 4th he passes me slowish (Not slowly, but not walked on)

Like cordia and others have said you need a tune and full bolt ons to beat that generation civic si because they have way better top end power than us 2.4's. Also get rid of that gmpp header its no good compared to a true header like vibrant, zzp, badmab etc. plus the downpipe on the auto 2.4 is really restrictive so you need to upgrade to atleast a 2.5 inch downpipe. The gmpp catback is ok however a full 2.5 inch exhaust would be better. once you get all those mods finish off with either a trifecta tune or hp tuner's tune. Then challenge this guy and you'll beat him.
anyways, I raced a new(ish?) civic Si, I have intake and header 5spd he had a cat back. I had him 1st, 2nd and then about halfway into 3rd hr started SLOWLY clawing his way up. We called it around there though lol. It was sort of a friend so it was all good lol.
