The only way a short throw is going to f#%k your synchros is if you shift like your at the strip all the time. Don't drive your car like your always racing because you're not and if you drive like an ******* then you deserve to f*%k up your synchros!

lol.. true.. and also dont force the shifter.. these things are smooth as silk if you let the shifter do the work, dont muscle it and you get a smoother faster shift the only downfall from my TWM is its a metal *** lol.. so its freaking HOT in the summer..and freaking COLD in the winter other than that i absolutely love it. One of my best purchases yet for my suprsxy SS!

jaslowyota: Shipping to Florida shouldn't take too long from Montreal, they're both on the East coast so it's straight South. It should take about 4-5 business days max.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, the feedback we have gotten about our Cobalt short shifter since it's release has been overwhelmingly positive. The install manual is available for download here if anyone has questions about what is involved with the install: TWM Cobalt Short Shifter

If anyone has any questions about the shifter, shipping, or the install, feel free to e-mail us at sales@twmperformance.com or give us a call toll free at 1-877-655-0540.

Thanks,

Kevin

Did you guys upgrade the knobs to the solid steal ones or did you stay with the included aluminum one?

ok i figured i would just let you know that ups sucks! My shifter was origianally shld to be here today but i went to there website and checked it and its been changed to the 27th! But the thing is it went from california to n.y.? Any time i have ordered anything that goes through california it usually stops at texas not newyork. I'm bummed because i was going to put my car in an local car show this weekend and i wanted the shifter on but now it snot going to happen.

I used the aluminum knobs as well. Figured i might get a weighted one at another time but i'm pretty happy with the one that came with the kit so we shall see.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately we have no control over the path that UPS takes to deliver our shifters, but I think that the CA you see when you track the package is Canada not California, since we ship from Montreal. Again, I apologize for the delay.

Thanks,

Kevin
