2.4 tune

Ok so I was talking to Bill at HP Tuners and he was saying that if they do decide to crack the E37 pcm it will not be until later this year. Again I stress if they decide to do it!! So my question is what are my options for a tune on an 08 2.4 for me? I'm up in canada and sending my pcm across the boarder for an extended amount of time my not work that well for me. Any ideas or help though would be great. Thanks.

Trifecta and LS2edit are your only options as of right now. Unless you want a canned tune of course.

Yeah i just sent Vince at trifecta a message and I'll see what he says. Just kinda sucks because I have a garage by my house that has been doing tune and dyno work for a long time and have a really good track record. Thats where I took my truck and it just sucks hp is looking like they will not unlock the pcm

What type of work do you have done to your car and what were the overall gains over stock?

What type of gains did you see from the tune and how was the install of it?

You have not happened to get your dyno number yet? Just wanted to see some real numbers from stock to tuned.

LS2edit works on 08s, that is the only software that will allow you to tune the PCM for the 08s

This is why I'm trading my 2.4 in for a SS. HP Tuners keeps giving people a time for unlocking the 08 2.4 and then they push it back, it's ridiculous.

There is also Westers from Alberta who can tune the E37 (08 2.4), but they seem to specialize more with big blocks, especially trucks. You may find a little more about them by searching the LSJ forum.

Ya, I've given up on HPT. If I go with tuning, it will be LS2 Edit. They specialize in GM. HPT doesn't seem interested.
