You guys should really get this tune, so far it seems like it was worth it, matt is a great guy to deal with too. I could def feel a bit of an increase when i first got in and drove it, the only problem was that i got stuck in traffic and lots of rain on the way home so im not sure how good the tune is so far, but as of now it seems really good, and i have the auto btw. So to matt and westers

I suppose you did not get a base line 1/4 mile beofre the tune did you? Feel is great and all but its hardly the way to guage increase in acceleration.....I'd like to see what it does to an an automatic though

Well I'll put it this way, on the way to where i live there is a nice straight stretch thats approx 1/4 mile... its actually a little less, but i usually like to see how fast i can get in that stretch from the stop sign to the first road. Lets just say that after the tune i can get at least 1-2 mph faster then i had before, but as soon as i goto a track i will get some times, but that might not happen for a couple of weeks.

Wink It's heeere!

Well I just installed my tuned ECM/TCM modules in my 2.4 auto.

The first thing I noticed was a slight lope at idle - sort of like a performance cam!

On the road, the transmission shifts harder and winds out more before it shifts (both up and down). It seems to rev a little quicker, but this is subjective.

The traction control was not touched though.

The engine runs a little hotter and there is no hesitation when my e-rams kick in at low rpm as there was previously. It definately puts a lot more torque to the ground!

As far as HP goes, I don't have a base line so to make any claims of a specific # increase - who knows? It feels stronger the more I drive - I know there's some but don't know how much yet.

High speed passing feels much better - yay torque.

I'll dyno it after I get my clear image header in (still on pre-order) and downpipe in and installed - already found the shop. I've got some 34 lb injectors (off an SS/SC) coming in just in case I run out of fuel on top.

I asked Matt to tune it for the header, so I know the tuning is a little off for now.

I'm not really going to thrash it hard until the header's on and the dyno work's done.

I'll post up the results when I'm done.

PS. Has anyone received their Clear Image header in yet?

I'm thinking i might change my cai back to an sri and see if that effects the tune, prolly if i have time on sat i'll do it, but it probably won't be that noticable, and im working with my schedule to see if i can get to a track in the next couple of weeks
