The long bolt that is used to bolt up the IM is definitely the wrong size in the instructions.
The barb that is on the throttle body is supposed to be piped into the intake tube. However, we are working on a different solution to this while still being able to pass emissions.
The LC-1 is acting funny. It seems like there is a delay, and the gauge is reading almost no difference in afr. Still working on that...

the LSJ bolts are thicker than the ones that will fit in the LE5 block. You need to get a narrower bolt. The 90mm bolts in the instructions are too long. We had to cut them about 30mm, but I'll see if I can find out if he measured them after he cut or not.
The short ones are fine, I believe they were 25mm grade 6 bolts. I know I have those measurements written down.

90mm I believe were new studs that you have to use which are 6M
As for the alternator, with the new setup it will spin CCW. Not sure if the stock one will work spining backwards but you guys can test it.

We still aren't sure about the alternator. It looks like we are going to dump the idea of using the 2-bar map sensor and go with the stock LSJ map sensor. Also are going to order the stock LSJ upper radiator hose. The chrome thing is a POS to put it lightly. I want this to be reliable and not just rigged up "so it works". If that means waiting an extra day or two for parts then that's what I will do. Also getting the IAT sensor on the S/C.
Some other issues came up, but Fred @ SMG can better explain than I can since he is doing the work. He did mention that it would extremely nice to have an LSJ throttle body rather than the LE5 throttle body. But either one would work. LSJ is better.
Stock bolts won't work. If you ordered the correct stainless steel ones in the instructions you shouldbe all set. Just torque them correctly in the right order and you will be ok.

The upper radiator hose? I don't have the number handy. Fred is going to order it tomorrow for me. Did you buy that chrome hose from CA? It's a piece of junk. Anyways, I saw it on summit for $20 less. You're better off selling it in the classifieds.

the lsj has 2 map sensors if i do remember correctly, one is connected to the sc inlet 1 bar i think and the other is on the manifold 2.5 bar and also has the iat2 on it.
i dont plan on boosting more than 16lbs so i dont need a 2.5bar sensor, plus wiring in the iat2's would get a bit confusing as i dont have the schematic for that sensor nor could i find it on the internet

I know the lsj has the temp sensor, and it has a different pigtail but that's ok because you can get that separately from the dealer too. That's what we are going to do then. Use the LSJ map sensor with the temp sensor built in, buy the pigtail and wire it in.
The car is all ready to go. Belt is on, coolant is in. All we need is the map sensor.
