Yeah I have Rebel's instructions. Personally, I don't think they were as clear as they should have been but Rebel claims that their instructions have been given to others and they are doing fine with them.
I was about 60% done with everything when I realized I didn't have the time to finish it by the end of today and running reliably for me to go back to work tomorrow and classes on Tuesday.
I have HPT but have never used. I got to the part where you change the injector size in there but after that I would have no idea what to do.

if you dont need mmy help, good luck with the install.
maybe someone can help you with the tune (like sending you one via HPT)

make sure the bracket is included at the bottom of the intake manifold. otherwise you will have to shell out $47 at the dealer for a new one.

honestly, the supercharger install cannot be that hard....take your time and do everything properly and i cant see why there would be any problems....also i thought that rebel provided the whole tune to make your car run right with boost...am i right or is it just a partial tune and you have to do the rest?...such as they only setup the injectors....whats the deal with the tune?

There wasn't anythign really difficult about it. I had some small things come up that compounded into larger things, then I had to wait for parts to come infrom overnight delivery and by the time the emergency ordered parts arrived I wouldn't have time to put it all in and have a reliable tune to drive the next morning.
The tune for rebel was for 34's. Not sure what else is in that tune. It's also $250 from them. I'm running 42's. Fred @ SMG motorsport is tackling the project from here on out.

wow it looks like i better learn some HPT or ima be dead in the water, also looks like i gotta learn alot of other things too.
Hopefully a pretty detailed howto comes out of this, where things are routed, how things are wired, pix of the hardware, pictures of the tune process.
EDIT: sorry what i was reading was the TAG tune is trash, so removed that part.

hey I juast noticed this thread if you need to know what bolts up and what wont and what not just let me know. as I have a 2.4 LE5 with a LSJ head and M-62 blower bolted together already. I just got to get back from overseas and throw the damn thing in my car. BTW i suggest getting a oil pan from a LSJ engine as its a 7 QT pan and with the extra stress you will be putting on things with the boost and just driving the blower itself ( even more so if you put a smaller pulley on the blower then stock) your going to want that 7 Qt pan also if you go to the LSJ belt drive system the stock 2.4L oil pan has some different holes and such on it that wont work.
good luck
ALSO THERE IS A BOLT OR TWO ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LSJ INTAKE MANIFOLD/INTERCOOLER THAT WILL NOT BOLT UP WITH THE STOCK BOLTS FROM THE LSJ THE HOLES IN THE BLOCK ON THE @>$LE5 ARE THERE AND IN THE CORRECT SPOT BUT THE BOLT HOLES ARE BIGGER ON THE LE5 BLOCK THEN THE LSJ. all it will require is to have the holes on the mounting bracker enlarged and get the correct size (thread pitch) and length bolts for the holes in the LE5 block.
good luck

Yes thats what im referring to is the brace at the bottom of the LSJ intake manifold. (sorry I should have been more specific LOL) what I'm doing/did is englarged the holes on the brace and found bolts that fit. its pretty easy.

If I can recall correctly its 5QTS. I can assure you though that its smaller then the LSJ pan.
I havent looked for any bolts yet as my build was interrupted because of a deployment. but im glad you found some.

I have the RD fabs 3.0 stainless one on the way. Not sure if it's going to fit straight out of the box but when I am done with it, it WILL fit. We'll see.
