you can boost the auto. but sadly on these cars the only good way of swapping to a manual is to get the same year wrecked manual vehicle and swap it all over that way.

 

The autos are rated for my power anyway. Idk why anyone would want to switch. Are ricers telling you because its auto its not "cool"? It may not be as fun but its hell of a lot more consistent and when your racing thats what you want.

 

try having an autos 3rd gear.... You will be happy to be a 5spd.

that is true the 3rd gear dies hard but with the auto you get nasty launches and with mine i pull most ppl enough that when my 3rd dies i still pull em a little bit lol bt idk shuld i boost?

 

Wouldn't be worth it... My focus tuner had a Lentech tranny in his 700whp Focus. I'm not sure if they make anything for the Cobalt or not.

 

think zzp said they have stuff out for our autos. But havent looked into it since I have another 30k on warranty still

 

yeah they do and i think thats what turbo ima go with but one question what all would i need to upgrade before i get the turbo?

 

catback,good tires, wideband,boost gauge (or an interceptor) are good starts.
and better brakes to slow you down from higher speeds!
