Ok guys i been out of the delta body mod game for a while, last time i was modding i know a tune for the 08 was hard to come by, has this hurdle been corssed yet and can we tune as easly as the older balts could?

You could check the tuning section, iirc HPT has a beta for the 08 LE5. Few months since I checked so maybe it's been released now

 

if someone has the beta you ccan use HPT but trifecta has always been an option

 

trifecta is a canned non dyno tune tho, im looking for a dyno tune specificly for my car.
So there is some kind of new release for HPT called beta that has the ability to tune 08s?

 

LOL no its not

a trifecta tune is specifically tailored to your car .. if you want a dyno tune.. just pay for dyno time and do all your data logs on there.. most tunes are street tunes ( trifecta and hpt) as most people are too cheap to pay for dyno time.. or unless theyre looking to draw every bit of power out of the car

and .. a release called beta? no beta is what something is when it's in the testing phase

 

^^ Truth there, Trifecta is a viable option.

Def not a "canned" tune like the piggyback modules, they send you a cable and a base tune, plug in your laptop and flash it, datalog it, send the logs back, they tweak the tune, reflash it......so on and so on. Every bit as custom tuning as HPT.

LS2 Edit is an option as well but I have not seen too many peeps using it.

 

oh wow i didnt know trifect tune worked like that, i always heard people talking good about them but also people call it a can-tune and what not.

so the trifect is basicly a custom tune, just done in a few steps as the tunner is far away..

precisely i'm a dealer in NY.. theres BYT that does HPT and trifecta in PA depending on your distance

 

im in north jersey, where in NY are you and by dealer what do you mean?

 

i'm in newburghy ny, by dealer i mean i do the flashing and do the logs for vince but he still does the tuning itself
