Not many posts on here about emissions after adding a turbo or supercharging your 2.4....I live in a county in Indiana that requires state ran emission testing every other year..So there is no way to pay anyone off, its hooked to the obd2 and tail is sniffed....I will be keeping the cat for sure..anyone run into problems with emissions after installed..... in the posts i have read people say get the code deleted in the tune....emissions will see that too, so it wont work...I just want to make sure any emission related problems can be solved if need be before i drop some loot..

 

I'm not sure on the tailpipe probe; But I had the 02 code deleted via HPT and after the tuning was finished up and car was running for a week; I went up to work and plugged her in and it passed the emissions test.


I would think that worse case scenario on the tailpipe probe; dont run your car very hard for a little while before the test or have the tuner lean it out a little bit to make sure it will pass the probe.

If someone has some better/personal experience with the tailpipe probe; please speak up cause I am curious as well.
