I ordered my AEM CAI last night for my 2.4. I also order a Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Has anyone had any trouble out of their AEM on a 2.4?

get a hydroshield for the filter and you'll be fine

 

AEM is probably one of the worst brands for the 2.4.

Could the hydro shield cause the air to be blocked in away the other night it was raining and when i was accelerating about 4-5K rpm the engine sorta hiccuped and went down then back up??

 

Should send it back and get the k&n SRI

 

bought it of here :P but it hasn't done it since, i probably should clean it too, idk when that was done last

Anyways, OP, why would you purchase a part for your car and ask questions about it later.

You should have done your research first, and then purchased the parts.

It will help you from making mistakes / wasting money in the future.
