I would still get the SC for sure but the Shift+ dude...you can see the difference and it's cheap. And normaly I set it when I'm already in D or L, when you set it in park it will give you a lunge from P to D or P to R, but I have heard Cavy owners have had them on all the time for 10K+ miles and no harm, I will try and get a quick vid of the shifting from Park to Drive and Reverse.

Thanks OrngBalt for the rep, did you ever upload those pics I sent you for the How To for the bowtie?

Piece of cake to install. Slide a wire through your firewall, tap two wires and flip a switch. you're done

You have an SS so you can tune. Install this and get someone to tune your transmission and you will slaughter 99.9% of manuals. Remember, the reason manuals have an advantage stock is because their shifts are faster. this and a tune will give you instant shifts and will NEVER slip meaning you will flawlessly shift through gears faster than most drivers.

it comes with wire taps. all you do is put the two wires together in the clip and snap it shut.... it has metal that will sheer the insulation and make a connection between the two. I personally stripped the insulation on the transmission wire and wrapped the wire from teh shiftplus into and and taped it up

I did the same with some butt splices, very tight working area though, plus I did it at like 9pm when I got off work.

Well with a tune you can be more persistant, but with the B&M Shift+ it just increases the pressure through the transmission, that's what the kit does, but as for both I'm don't know anyone that has done that? But it's your choice what you want to do, transmission tune, stays on all the time, B&M can be switched off. And also I have been able to compare side-by-side of the B&M and tune, but a guy I know owns a SS like mine and I ran him half mile and was almost 4 cars, with my CAI, but still a pretty big difference, but I will try and talk him into a tune so I can do a side-by-side test.

Hopefully I answered what you want to know....rep.

We have sold hundreds of these already and they seem to be working great. No one has notified us yet of having any issues on this item at all.

Here is a link as well as a picture of the item.

Me and some local J-Body's are probably going to do a Oct-Dec. Track day, when the weather cools down.

LOL....pfft...instructions. Check out HackAbuse's How To, the instructions it comes with is just telling you kinda how to wire it to what connections not specific to the Cobalt. And yes, the 06 Balt's and up are orange wires I believe.

Edit: Do not use the quick connects, use some butt splices or male/female connectors, eventualy the quick connects will cut the wire completly causing no connection....maybe damage.
