Best source for new or reman 2.4?

Opinions anyone? Where would you go if you needed a stock replacement?

+1. Purchased a complete 2.2 for my boy's Cavalier from a junk yard that had one posted for $450.00. It had slightly higher miles but runs like a champ!
It'll give you a list of junkyards near you that have them, usually with mileage and condition and what vehicle they came out of (or currently in)

junkyard
rockauto for getting part number. If buying from them, always use the 5% off discount.

Junkyard like others said. You can get a used 2.4 engine fairly cheap because they were in a lot of different vehicles including solstice, g6, hhr, Pontiac g5, cobalt, Saturn vue, ion, aura

Thanks all for the input. I'm steering away from used route towards a reman.

Just make sure that your reman has quality parts. Its easy to rebuild one using things like cast pistons and cranks.
