I've driven 2.4's before but I don't remember how I launched best. Tires make a huge difference though. My new tires are decent, and I can release the clutch pretty hard at around 2300 and not spin too bad. The 3.1 is all about torque though, so no matter where you launch if you punch it you will get some spin.

yeah, when I got the car it had Predators(Cheap canadian tire crap) on the front, and I'd chirp them in 3rd(I impressed alot of people like that), now, after a rotation, the stock RSA's are on front, and being down to about 1/64th, they're basically poor man's drag radials(and lots of fun to drive in the rain!); so wheel spin isn't a big problem.

cold intake bigger throttle (custom made) port and polish and tornado hey guys torando works really good! thats the main parts that goes little faster and also lovwer with 18in rims thats pretty much it

The tornado must really work if you can run a 14.8 with a 2.4 Auto without much more then intake and headwork.

my buddies 96 2.4 auto tranny 4 door cav runs 15.5 motor and 14.5 on a 50 shot all he has is cold air with true custom ram air solid motor mounts ane he slide the stock muffler off
