What would be the difference between the 3 bar map and the 2.5 bar map
there is 20$ difference the 3 bar is at 29.99 and 2.5 at 49.99

if i get the 3 bar would it still be ok?

I spliced the temp wires from the MAF so I just read IAT2 now. This sensor mounts in the stock location on the top left of the IM.

Sorry for the thread revive but I want to know if the wiring diagram is good for the 2.4 stock maf sensor. I've read that some mafs are different and black was actually my black and the tan is my tan on my car.

Thanks!

My 07 2.4 iat wires at MAF are tan and tan/black.

I'm getting ready to hook up the lsj 2.5bar map, just trying to make sure.

HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !

I installed Saab intake mani and am using the LSJ 2.5bar MAP sensor with IAT.
I was told to make this change for the new LSJ map, engine-diagnostics-
MAP SENSOR LINEAR= 270.59kpa and
MAP SENSOR OFFSET= -3.30kpa.

I did a WOT 2nd gear pull and my MAP kpa reading is only 145kpa this at 11psi.......hmmmmmmm

Where as before with 2bar MAP at 10psi I got readings of 175kpa.... which makes sense to me but not the above.

what have I DONE WRONG ?

do you guys know what could be the problem,
Yeah the tune...

Remote tune is never gonna be dead on, i'd ditch it and go with a local tuner

Soo I just installed my supercharger the car runs, but the map sensor readings stay at 79kpa no matter what the operating conditions are. I'm using the 2.5 bar map and running the iats through it. Any thoughts?

I have a 2007, 2.4L

I've wired it according to the drawing that gets passed around all the time. The only thing I didn't understand was the low reference from the maf sensor. Does it get spliced in with the stock low reference? Making the two low reference wires into one?
I read that all that is to be done is to cut the low reference from the maf and do nothing with it...

My low ref signal is two into one and works fine. I have no unused wires.

How are e67 users utilizing anything above 1 bar when the ve table ends at 105kpa?

i think most people tune their cars "maf only"

i was reading a thread you were posting in over at hptuners forums and i realize while ve is impossible to completely disable, i believe most people live with stock ve tables on the base model cars.

pretty sure lsj has a regular style ve table

Have you figured anything else out about VVE? I have had ZERO success getting even a single word out of HPT tech support or forums. Starting to become disappointed in HPT.

Its still in the beta stages so you cant expect it to really work how it should or expect great support.

I havent really played with it too much but it all seems to make sense for me anyway.

I read somewhere on hpt forums that changing the map and rpm boundaries doesnt affect the vvt parts of the ve equation so it wont work because of the different axes... I havent tried loading anything onto my car with it yet.
