how can i get a bore like the 2.4 in my 2.2? is it a different block? or different sleeves?

do the 2.4 pistons mate up to 2.2 rods?

Its a different block and sleeves (L880 in the 2.4 vs L850 in the 2.0/2.2).

The rods will not interchange.

well i was mainly asking because there are some wiseco 2.4 ecotec pistons on ebay for $100.

but i have a 2.2 and i need 2.2 pistons.

just for fun, i used an engine displacement calculator to calculate my stroke (94mm) multiplied by my bore (94mm like i said just for fun) x 4 = 2.609 liters!

can anyone say 2.6 ecotec?

wiseco makes pistons for the 2.2 in a 90mm, cosmetic has gaskets, that should give you alot of low-end torque and ~2.4L

???

leaving 1 mm cylinder wall thickness?

iirc, the 2.2 has an 86 mm bore cylinder sleeve w/ 91 mm outside bore.

this would be like suicide.
