I have heard that there is a company that makes some kind of screen that blocks the brake dust from getting on the wheel. Anyone here know what I am talking about?

I don't know about the rest of you, but changing rotors and brake pads can lead to high costs till you find the right one and even then you will not completely eliminate dust. UNLESS.....you get Brake shields. Look on line for KLEEN BRAKE SHIELDS. No more dust on the rims. What a great concept and only one time cost.
Hope this helps.

how hard are they to put on? because as much brake dust as our pads produce the shields would probably need to be removed and cleaned just as often as we have to clean the rims.

Each time you rotate your tires. Thats all. A friend has these on his Mustang and swears by them.

Lol, I would never use that. Looks like you got hubcaps. I would just suck it up and clean the wheel.
