well since you have put most of the miles on it, i would have to say that maybe you should consider taking a driving lesson or two.

that is very very soon with these clutches, i know some people have burnt them just due to the power and their habbits, others seem to burn them cuz they dotn know what the hell they are doin, i have 4000 kms on mine with alot of spirited driving and normal driving for that matter and havnt had a problem. there are a few people on here with some mods and hit the track every so often and race around town and they have no clutch problems as far as i know, take it to the dealer and see what they can do for you.

18k with VERY spirited driving and lots of track days and still feels good as stock, and this was my first stick car. I guess it just helps to have someone who knows what they're doing teach you.

7000 miles very spirited, dyno runs and track runs has never slipped or appears any different then the day I got it.

My first stick car ever, learned to drive on it. 36 miles on car when I bought it.

Sometimes you just get faulty parts. Unless you where trying to **** it up theres now way you could kill your clutch in less then 2000 miles IMO...

Yeah, take lessons or something....'cause DAMB!!!!

If you know what you are doing you should easily get 40,000 miles of the clutch minimum!

I was ordering a blue 2.4L and as they were driving it to my dealership the clutch went out. My mom works at that dealership and she keeps me updated on it. They fixed the clutch and then it went out again before they were even able to sell the damn thing. So I believe there are some faulty clutches out there. My clutch is holding up at a little over 3k with some hard driving now and then. Some of us win, some of us lose!

it can be if it was a defect, and in 1450 miles, that may be a defect.
