ok sooo i have no idea why i havent thought of this sooner ..but yesterday randomly i see this ss/sc 07 at the junk yard! engine turns over but shes totaled for sure, so im getting it for a steal..now i dont kno much about the lsj but being its super charged ill assume the intake manifold is bigger then mine (le5) ..soo take that! ..throttle body..s/c (of corse! ) ..brakes? idk lol but ill take anything that fits ..part for me wants to swap the whole engine soo i dont need a tune ..i could just steal the lsj computer! right? but i like being 2.4.. anybody ever done anything similiar ..what r my options ?

It's not as easy as just swapping the PCM. IIRC the connectors are different as well as the engine harness because of the sensors... It's not a honda. You can't just swap and go lol

 

lol funny u say that because thats the exact reference i was using ! and ok cool honestly ide rather go 2.4 s/c anyways, but what can i use off the lsj? what do they have thats better and compatible ..what can i use to get the s/c on my 2.4 ?

 

You would need the intake manifold, supercharger, inter cooler pump and hose, heat exchanger itself, lsj alternator, lsj intake, lsj belt tensioner and belt and a couple more misc parts I think

 

The minimum: everything mentioned above, stock LSJ injectors or larger, and tune. That's the basics. Any exhaust work would be beneficial as well, especially header/dp

 

can i run the lsj pulley safely ? 3.35 i think ...

and yeah i would go #60 o nthe injectors

 

buy the whole car, part it out on here, youll get your money back and make some money probably your getting it as cheap as you say. thatll pay for your swap plus some

If you look in the L61 section there are build threads about how to go about supercharging your car. Ohh and the brakes off the ss/sc are the same as the ones you already have on your car.

 

You could get the suspension on the LSJ too, it's better.

 

bumpers, lips, shifter, interior, wheels

 

Shifter won't swap from the ss/sc to the ss/na

 

do the tranny then.... then swap the shifter.... specially if g85

 

Depending on interior id do that for sure

 

just buy the whole car and take it home....................
