sorry if its a repost but I was wondering if the fitment issue is fixed. It says it has a good fit but I was wondering if it still hit that coolant line or not. Just trying to see what I am gettin into before I ordered it.

 

the fitment issue is NOT fixed yet. kenny said that they got the test header in and there were still fitment issues. be about another month before it will be out. im waiting, its gonna be a great header!

There was only a fitment issue with the 2.2's. im pretty sure that it fits the 2.0 and 2.4 good.

yeah i heard the issue was only with the 2.2

 

there was only a problem on the 2.2. as we know it was hitting the coolant line. there are no problems with it on the 2.0/2.4. im local to cobalt addiction. im putting one on my 2.4 soon. but pm donna for sure.

 

I just ordered one yesterday....hopefully they are in stock. I got the downpipe too....hopefully a noticable difference. I am new to performance parts. I just hate bolting on a part an telling no difference.

 

they fit the 2.2 jsut have to put a dimple in one pipe, kenny said it wouldnt cause any decrease and flow and you wont notice anything different.

 

Yeah only issue is with 2.2's and they have them in stock, or at least did monday when I was there... also had a few DP's made up and ready to go.

I got an email. they are on their way. I just wish i knew for sure it was noticable difference. I am thinking maybe of a how-to as well. Dont think I ever saw one for the header install. Depends if i can find a camera.


anyone have these on a 2.4? sound difference or more important performance increases(not stuff on paper but tell while driving)?

 

Well since the header was actually originally tested on the 2.4 hhr it saw gains of up to 10hp and 6tq.. probably see the full gains with the DP>

and yeah sean I spoke to mike... just please try not to get here too late. I"m pretty worn out, and would like to relax tonight for a bit... also it's $35 for the swap... I"m not doing and more "free" labor.

 

ah. yeah leavin here around 4:30. i wud want some bolt ons before i tune correct? how much u think header,down pipe, cat back wud put down.

got it in....love it......the only thing is my resonater on my corsa exhaust is leaking from the clamped seal. dont have what I need to weild it(stainless) broke so cant afford to have someone weild it. any ideas? its leaking from what i would call the end cap of the resonator.

suggestions please

 

if the catback is leaking email whoever you got it from and tell them. unless it where it bolts up to the downpipe.
