Cant F'ing win!

Seriously, this car is never ******* happy. You cant open her up in the winter cuz of snow, spring and fall cuz it always rains and now summer its too humid so the car just lags.

Looking forward to this summer to go out and cruise around and now that its here, its very humid here in the summer and the car runs like ****. Just bogs down until 4k, heatsoaks instantly.

Should have never put money into this ******* thing, its too damn sensitive, has to be the perfect enviroment or its not happy.

/rant

If someone has a solution to this, it would be appreciated, thanks

mine bogs from 2-4k, it opens right up after 4k, you can feel it, its like vtec in a fukin honda and u can hear it.

Its just ridiculous, its not even that warm yet and the cars already doing this, god help me come june. If i dont find a solution to this, the car wont be around much longer, a damn geo is faster then it in the humid weather

The second mine hits 3600, its perfect. But summer mornings especially, when its super humid, i just want to drive it into oncoming traffic

Well im not one to really put up with it. Im going to get it tuned in a month or so once im back at my work. If that doesnt help it, then its gone before next year, get myself a nice daily driver and build a weekend/strip car. This car deffinately wasnt made to have the best of both worlds.

nice car but not my cup of tea. Nice AWD V6 for a DD and a beefed up V8 is what i would like to have eventually. An AWD V6 fusion has really got my attention

Ok so what mods do you have? I noticed heatsoak with my g5 gt when it was stock, but once I started doing bolt ons and getting the car breathing better it helped alot. I think you should just do full bolts ons like header/downpipe, intake and exhaust and then tune. Also you could do f/I like supercharge, nitrous , or turbocharge. If its still boggin after doing any of those things then sell it.

No mine was fine before i started modding. K&N intake, LSJ down pipe and magnaflow muffler. It was after the intake was put on that it started heat soaking. I'll be damned if im going to buy more parts and put it on this car. It will get a tune and if that doesnt do it, its gone

Think about putting some methanol injection in it... See if that helps you because you said you are heatsoaking. And also if you have a SRI, look into a CAI for cooler air. (Or a heat shield)

Hmm interesting, well I'd say with the mods you have your not getting alot of power i'd say switch to a cold air intake and get a aftermarket header/downpipe combo and do a full catback. Plus once you tune it the power enrichment delay will be gone which is why it feels like its bogging.

I had this problem too. I have a custom intake. I had it SRI for the longest time. Just recently I decided to give CAI a try. I can't tell you how much more better the car runs now. Lag is a thing of the past! I'd look into going CAI!

and better looking this i agree

and cheaper to make power i disagree. its a hell of a lot cheaper to mod a honda. and cause of that you can easily mod it to murder ss/sc but ss/tc could be a challenge. but still si runs high 14's stock....

Really? complaining that your 2.4 is bogging hard.

Toss some headers on clean your filter and stop complaining lol.

Or trade it in for a LNF or something faster.

yes i complaining my car bogs when ive had the intake on for a few months with a brand new filter and it just started doing this issue for the last week or so. So yea im ******* complaing, it doesnt just magically appear. If its been there since i had the car it would be different, but since this is just a recent issue, i dont think throwing more mods at it will solve the damn issue.

Usefull info or dont post at all.
