dunno i dont remember if we tried it with a res or not, but i admit i love the way my car sounds with out a res. when you get on it, it kinda reminds you of a turbo or jet lol you just hear it pushing out a **** load or air haha especially with it coming out right behind each door. but i say go for it, put it on if your happy with it thats all that matters

Friend of mine is running the cherry bomb resonator and muffler from auto zone or pep boys. It sounds like a WRX wannabe. Other than that its throaty, deep, it's 2.5", and cheap.

Go for it; I personally like the sound myself as well. Surprisingly theres no rasp

The muffler in that video is a different style of glass pack muffler compared to the Cherry Bomb. The one in that video looks very similar to a Dynomax Ultra Flow Welded.

In my personal opinion, even a muffler delete on the 2.4's sound nice.

i am waiting for parts. i ordered a red hot glasspack (cherry bomb wannabe) for my resonator and a magnaflow 11266 muffler (same muffler used by clear image auto). i will let you what i think and post a video for sound.

Im actually going to be adding a cherry bomb glasspack as a resonator. I have zzp header/dp to stock exhaust pipes with resonator delete and borla exhaust and it is extremely loud and raspy. Im really hoping the glasspack deepens it up and makes it sound alot better

 

I think you just bumped a dead friggin thread. Cherry Bombs packs are gay and they sound retarded!

if you were in cali i would sell you my old muffler 2.5" in and out...custom made for me at Jardine Motorsports...i really dont want to ship it and for 50 bucks i dont think so

 

I'm sure its been said 1,000 times in this thread, but, use a true resonator and not a glasspack. Sure it will sound great.....for about 4 months..
