Custom 2.4L SS Turbo
ill agree with the sound thing. It has some kind of whine to it then you hear spooling then it blows off. its kinda crazy sounding but i like it. the tone is a slight bit deeper post turbo as well.
Witt, if you can come up with a tune on paper and it work flawlessly in the car the first time, tune my car? lol Im actually from Allentown/Easton, PA.
I just watched that video after reading this thread and i agree with everyone. That thing sounds mean as hell. A LOT like how my car sounds with a 3" exhaust.

, worked wonders on my GTO for a first tune, and they are exclusive to pgh.. go awaynah jk
Honestly though, it wasn't hard at all to tune. Our educated guesses air/fuel wise put us within 8% afr error which I tuned yesterday down to 2%. With spark, we made an adjustment for every pound of boost and hand smoothed the table, came out perfect.
It kinda made me laugh when I was used to seeing people post here that the 2.4 PCM was so difficult because it "wasn't made for boost". I think we all agreed that the 2.4 PCM is a better platform to start with tuning wise. Beta 19 of HPT gave us even more parameters as every new release seems to concentrate more and more on the 32bit pcms.

I never messed with the 2.4PCM until I tried to help out jackalope, the license error got me pissed. I did once before but I got the error reading one guys car and never looked at it again. BennyHHR has had great sucess tuning his HHR and loves it. I just haven't had a chance to get with him.

Definetly, I know he'll be at Pittsburgh Raceway soon. I think he wants to dyno at Hybrid Dynamics in youngwood soon as he has his baseline from there.
