yaaaa. all the people saying magnaflow. hell no. haha. sorry but most annoying exhaust ever. i literally just got a bad mab header, zzp catted downpipe and my corsa catback put on. deep rumble apon idle and very nice sounding rev. but if your just getting a catback id go with a gmpp. sounds almost stock but louder and deeper. so. id either go with 1 of 3 different catbacks. either borla, corsa, or the gmpp. watch some videos. decide on what you think sounds better but make sure to read the descriptions of the videos. make sure your watching a video of the car with JUST a catback on it not header, downpipe and catback. changes the sound quite a bit. and i just wanna throw this out there. videos dont even come close to doing the sound and deep rumble justice. magnaflow is cheap and raspy. i personally dont like it. and for wat u r looking for you do NOT want that. you said you want deep. so go with companies that are infamous for deep sound. idk. im probobly gonna get made fun of and yelled at by these magnaflow guys but i beleive you get what you pay for when it comes to retail prices when it comes to most things. exhaust especially. so theres my opinion and do what you want with it. do your research. =] hope that helped.

I will say I do still love my slp. But on the loud sound. But fairly stock appearing. Nice burble at idle. No rasp at wot. And some nice little srt4 like pops on decel.

 

I had a megan racing on my ss/na and i hated it.. its loud, it drouns, and it just wasnt for me. I put the silencer in and called it a day. I am looking for exhaust on my ss turbo but dont know what to do as i am afraid after my ss/na exhaust mishap haha

 

you should get the new Borla exhaust for the SS/TC...they sound ****** bitchin!!!

 

Do you know if the SS/TC borla will fit the 2.4? I ordered a borla cat-back for my 2.4 but I'm having second thoughts because it is only 2.25" I think. Would like to be 2.5" or above for my turbo build.

 

The flanges on the ss/tc exhaust are different. but there are 2.5-3" options out there for the lsj and they are a direct fit for us. Im running 2.5" on mine. And honestly while the gmpp style exhausts sound good they are 2.25 and I prefer to be at least 2.5 as well.

 

As long as cobaltmania haven't sent it out yet I can get a custom 3" borla made elsewhere. Just hoping it isn't in transit or I'm stuck with using it, or having to ship it back again. Didn't know the offical borla was only 2.25 when I was ordering.

 

with your car since it isnt boosted, 2.25 inch exhaust should be fine. the only time you really NEED a 2.5 inch exhaust is when your pushing more than 250 ponies.

 

Don't get the megan. It sounds horrible.
