...a new gasket to the downpipe? Because mine didn't and I had to reuse the stock one. Also, why do they only give you two hangers? And holy **** are they hard to put on.

 

Nope, the instructions say you are supposed to reuse the old one. I never had a problem with my gasket when I put my system on. A replacement gasket can be had from the dealer for 6$.

You use the original hangers for everything but the rear two. Those require the longer replacement hangers that come with the kit for clearance on the muffler *read instructions* or you might melt your bumper. YES the longer hangers you put on the muffler are a bitch to put on! It is probably the hardest part of the install. I used vaseline on mine to get them to go on.

The hangers for the muffler also have a metal band in them so that they don't stretch or move. The muffler will always be nice and solid.

 

I reused a stocker on the rear because I couldn't get them on in the cold weather. We tried taking a lighter to it for a while but it was like 12 degrees outside lol. I'll have to call magnaflow and reorder another one. I had to cut one off because we just couldn't get it on. Hell of a time cutting out my old piping with a Recip Saw too. No worries though... got a new gasket comming in with my ZZP order.

 

imo i would replace them..when i got my gmpp they came with a new gasket..even when i got my new header..came with new gaskets
