AEM will work, you just have to get someone who is "Understanding" of the base map requirement. It's just a metter of pinning the ECU to run the car.
Nice thing is that there is a soft cut fuel cut and you can rid the car of the top speed limit and the By-pass valve safety cutoff.

It's not that is will or wont. It's that nobody has decided to make it work.
I use AEM because I am familiar with what it can do. There is also HYDRA Systems...
AEM is a Blank Slate ECU. Everything can be entered with stock sensors if the 100 or so wires are hooked up. The $1500.00 cost is what has caused nobody to try it out. Basically, when engines start blowing up, the SS forum will see the need for real EMS and not just Piggyback garbage.

Yes you can, the ECU will still control the tranny, it jsut won't be tied into any of the Engine Control.
