Exhaust ports

does anyone know the sizing of the exhaust ports? I am looking at headers and I want to make sure I get as close as I can to the port size.

on the block itself the ports at 2.5'' or 3''!?!?!? they are that large? i am not looking for the stock manifold primaries sizes.

I have seen posts suggesting the ideal for a 2.4L is 1.5". (1.75" for 2.0L SC) It may be worth doing serious searching on this. You could destroy your low/mid range torque.
