ok so does anyone have the picture of the spot on our exhaust that is 2.25? our exhaust is all 2.5 except for that one spot correct? also has anyone thought about getting a dual set up made? what would you all think that would cost for a shop to do? to replace the 2.25 section and then add another for a dual?

 

If u lay under the axel and look up u can see the weld where it shrinks down. It will be pretty cheap <100 to have it done if u provide the muffler. I have no comment on the dual question

 

danm..i had that 2.25 replaced with a MENDRAL BENT 2.5" pipe and they also welded a flowmaster muffler for 50 bux with 3 month warranty.

 

I did the same for 80

 

I've done a complete dual exhaust conversion on my 2.4L. It's an Ion but, it should be pretty much the same. Sounds great too. Cost with 2 Magnaflow mufflers was $260. I also used the stock exhaust tip and just bought a second one off Ebay for about $35. Here's the link to all the pics... hope it helps:
