91 or higher and you should be fine. I my area it is very hard to fimd 91 so I fill up with 93 and I am fine.

Stock you will be able to get away with lower grade fuel, but once you start modding your car especially once you get a tune it requires higher octane all the time. The owners manual recommends 91 or higher but does not demand it. There is nothing else that can be added to this statement, because it is coming right from the manual.

I run 93 and get low 20's city (driving normal) and 17 (driving like a maniac) and high 20's highway. 2.4L full bolt-ons.

And you're just talking about folks from here. We won't even get into the usual lamers you hear whining about gas prices - people who drive SUV's large enough to hold three generations of family and get 12 mpg.

Can't afford premium?

It is like...at most...and I mean MOST...40 cents more than regular.

I think we have 12 gallon tanks...so that means most people fill up to 11 gallons...you are talking ******* four and a half more dollars.

Just say 'i'm a tight wad and bought an SS to look cool' instead
