your transmission type makes a difference....which one do you have? I have to asume your talking city mileage?

My old coupe a 2.4L 5 speed got 8.5L per 100km usually

I can get 9.0 in my automatic 4dr 2.4L

I do open her up every so often and am no grandma driver.

It's rather useless to compare city MPG though. Everyone has a different commute--different speed limits, number of lights ect

Highway evens things out.

I got 6.9L recentley

9-10.7/L100km's during the summer

10.6 to 10.9/L100km's during fall when it starts to get cold

In the winter its usually worse:

11-13/L100km's

roughly 420-480km's per tank mixed city highway

That's on 91 octane

The cold normally hurts gas mileage with an intake. As you can see I don't have a 2.4L, but I do have a K&N intake. I'll do some gas mileage conversions for you quick........

I get around 11.77L/100km Summer, 14.12L/100km Fall, and I don't know about winter yet.

I have been averaging 7.2 l/100km (around 32 us mpg) since I bought the car, over 38000km now.
130km round trip daily commute, 90% highway.

Charted it out and it is a bit worse in the winter (no surprise) but only by 1-2 mpg.

Best tank was 6.4 / 36 mpg in early May.

As a side note - the DIC is 3-5% optomistic on my car, it shows better mileage than what I get logging everything manually.
