Need Resonator Advise

Ok, I'm replacing my corsa resonator and looking for one that actually sounds good. Another option is straight pipe but I heard that sounds like crap..

Also was thinking of using the stock resonator maybe, but I wasn't sure how restrictive it is even though it is 2.5".

what muffler/system are you running? down pipe? makes a difference in whether or not to have a resonator. I havae a catback no resonator and borla it sounds good not too loud with stock down pipe.

Currently it's a corsa exhaust set up with a vibrant header and d/p combo.

Magnaflow NOT!!

Just redid my exhaust with 2 Magnaflow resonators, 18" and 14" back to back. Unfortunately it is much louder than the stock OEM unit.

Back to square 1 for quiet and efficient....

It might just be for his hhr, but it is loud as ****. Your vibrant resonator..., is it the super quiet one? And how is the clearance? Both in the exhaust tunnel, and from the ground?
