Gahhh Dont know what to do...

Okay i have a 2006 Pontiac Pursuit GT and its on a 4 year lease, which i pay for everymonth yada yada, but anyway im in an argument with my parents saying that if i get a SRI or CAI for my car it will void my warranty and GM will be unhappy with me and all that other crap can someone tell me if i do this little mod will GM not like it or is it safe to do with the warranty and being a lease.

Thanks, Andrew

My salesperson encouraged me to put an intake on my car after telling me to drop second while merging onto a highway during the test drive, and yes I'm leasing.

I fully intend to buy at the end of the term though, because I just can't afford to roll another lease over. What are your plans? You can't really mod a leased car unlease you: a) completely put it back to stock before the lease is over; or b) buy it out at the end. If your tastes change over the next 4 years you might regret modding your car. An intake is really no big deal though, since it's easily reversible and it's not like you can't sell the intake later.
