gmpp extra honed exhaust manifold

I was thinking about getting this piece for my 2.4 G5 GT i was just curious if anyone else has gotten this piece and if so whether or not they think its wroth the money. thanks a lot

aight thanks. im looking for that header right now and i can only fidn the V2 stainless steel and id rather save $100 and skip the stainless steel. and help would be appreciated thanks.

the v1 is right above the v2 on their page.. are they not selling it or something?

ive got the gmpp manifold and the 2.5 xtc downpipe. No complaints at all. Just make sure u replace your dp!!

if you want to keep your warranty, go with GMPP
(btw, theres already a bunch of threads on this)

and put the S/C downpipe (2.5'')... it's a GM part, it will cost u less if u get a used one and they won't tell the difference when they get under the car at ur dealership

Also keep in mind that the warrany on the GMPP is only one year. If you have a problem with it a year after you have installed, it will not be covered on the normal warrany.

I thought the 2.4's shared the same downpipe as the ss/sc?

no they don't
same manifold, but different dp
the stock 2.4 dp is freakin small.... not as much as the 2.2 is though

No ****, Had my car a year now and I didn't even know this. So the SS/SC DP is 2.5" the whole way? With a CAT?

can any one post hard proof the DP are dif, such as part numbers,

the SS/SC down pipe might be a good mod if indded its better flowing then the stock ss/na one

the ca v1 is not being made any more due to the v2 fits all cobalts and looks nice...but only down fault the v1 is better for our n/a cars...the outlet is 3" when the old one was 2.5...but still a good product...go for it
