As the title states, its cracked where the primaries meet,

wow thats not good I figured those would never crack due to the cast iron metal . Did you buy it new or used?

New, and it only had about 20k on it. But it has seen two midwest winters. So im not exactly sure if that would affect it. Im really not sure what the heck is going on with it.

when my car had about 30,000 miles on it I was changing out the stock header to a different header. After removing the heat sheild, I had a crack in the same spot as yours. crazy castng I guess...
