gmpp intake
gmpp intake
went ahead and installed me gmpp intake tonight. it was a breeze. the combo of this and my gmpp touring catback is almost orgasmic. it sounds so good i wondered if god works for gmpp. just took some quick camera phone pics but i have the day off tommorow so expect vids. honestly, im so impressed with gmpp right now its incredible.

bought through my dealer, i get everything at cost as my family is fairly loyal to them and we do alot of business there. the gains were definately noticable. if you dont already have it, i also highly reccomend the catback.
hehe i wanted that catback too! but its not listed there anymore on CED, only the performance not the touring. im just hoping to get one used from a member now :P
i honestly wouldnt want the performance. i like the subtlty of my car and dont want it to be ass ridiculous. i also spend alot of time on the farm (out of my friends about 80% are from the country) so i would definately get beaked six ways to sunday if my car sounded ricey. i hate the cackling most exhausts make. mine has zero.

I've been wanting the gmpp intake for a little while now but I'm broke, I was thinking about going to dealer and asking for a better price, I see you're in Canada and I was just wondering what price they gave it to you for? (I bought a small part from my dealer once and when the guy told me the price I was like are you kidding?? and he said yeah I know hang on... and then he gave it to me for cost) So I wanted to know what price I'd be looking at before I went in, I don't want to walk in and ask for it at cost and them say yes and then find out it's only marked up 2% and look like a douche bag because it's still out of my price range... thanks for your help.

Not sure where you got that info...both GMPP cat-backs are still on the CED website:

the price for that one is up to 545
hey cobalters!! you can get ALL the stuff you want at CED! i live about 45min from there and they are great!! ask for dave..he does everything he can to save you cash!! he goes the extra mile!! i am picking up my touring exhaust next...good luck!
i got mine! and installed too!

performance wise was pretty much the same (didnt really drive hard tho) but the sound is amazing!
do you guys think it'll have more gain if i take out the intake resonator? since it's breathing through the stock bottom of the airbox and that seem the greatly reduce air flow.
Put a scoop on it! Check out the link in my signature for dyno numbers of stock, GMPP intake with stock hood, and GMPP with scoop.
btw did you have tuning done at the time of the dyno?
