Ground wires?

Just wondering if anyone is using any form of ground wires on their 'balt, and if yes, then how so? The reason i'm asking is that my friend Eric just bought and installed an HKS Circle Earth system (fancy ground wire set from HKS) on his '06 WRX, and he's had nothing but great things to say about it. Increased throttle response, his cars starts up a tad quicker, improved MPG, brighter lights, faster window roll ups/downs, a bit of added pep, etc etc. Anywho, I know Cobalt Performance Parts used to have some kind of ground wire kit for Cobalts, but I checked their site and its not there anymore. But the big question at hand is, since our battery is in the trunk, how would we go about installing a ground wire kit? There used to be a guy on here w/ a silver 2.4SS with the Sun Auto universal ground wires listed in his sig, but he's nowhere to be found nowdays. Any input on this? I know I could ghetto fab my own ground wire kit, but i'd rather buy something a bit more quality/professional looking, lol.

I went to a guy who specialized in imports (he had a rather nice supra) and he took one look under the hood and said something along the lines of: 'its grounded really well right now - don't even bother - it'd take me a week to do anything better, and the gains wouldn't be nearly worth it'

However, this was over 2 years ago, so its possible that someone has figured out a way to do it up right.

I added 1/0 AWG wire that spans from one side of my motor mount to the other, but just specifically for my sound system.

I noticed that the stock electrical definitely held up to the current draw in the trunk

ground kits are universal...

the only thing that makes it "Vehicle specific" is the length of the wires....

Personaly, spending an additional $50 for pre cut wires isnt my brand of tea...

Not True. MODIFIED magazine tested this in the Cobalt SS/SC about 6 months ago, and showed a consistant 5hp/0tq gain. They were using EVIL wires I think.

That's what we need to find out more about. There is a science behind where you should ground out to make it useful. They did note that you have to know where to install the wires otherwise you could get nothing.

you've honestly never heard of ground wires? Alot of manufactuers make kits for certain cars..........HKS, SUN Auto, EVIL Industries, etc etc.

Ground wires re-routes the electricity in your car that flows through parts it shouldn't be flowing through (basically the electicity that is gonna wind up hitting a dead end) and route it back into your electrical system for better idle, fuel efficency, smoother acceleration, better response, etc etc.
