i recently replaced the motor in a 2.4 i had and trying to figure out the locations of the ground wires on the engine. car isnt starting and im pretty sure its due to grounding issues. had the grounding wires taped off to their proper positions but of course, the tape broke now i have no idea where they go.
Here's a picture of the 3 grounds in question. They're numbered 1-3, descriptions of where they start are listed, but i need to know where they bolt down on the factory 2.4. I've got no voltmeter at the moment and the ground positions i've already tried were not successful.
The ground marked #1 branches off of the engine harness right near the starter.
The Ground marked #2 runs straight from the frame under the drivers headlight (a rather beefy ground) and looks like its supposed to be bolted in somewhere around the starter aswell.
The ground marker #3 branches off of the engine harness near the A/C unit.
