I actually drive a 2008 2.4L Pontiac g6 and from what i read online and different forums we have the same engine the LE5. But my question is i see Videos of Cobalts on youtube that are pretty quick and i want to do that to my G6. Can i use the same parts like Headers, Cams etc... Im really looking to get some more power outta my car but im new to this stuff so dont kno what else i can do. ive done an intake, and exhaust. next is a tune but what can i do before the tune to get the most out of it.

Add a header and downpipe befoer you get the tune

 

Turbo will be the way to go if you want your car to be as fast as the Cobalts you've seen on YouTube. G6 also ways more than our cars so you'd be slower head to head vs an auto G5 GT, for example.

yea im on a couple of G6 forums and no one seems to know anything about the 2.4. Im actually the first one with an intake without a tune.

 

what are you thinking about getting for wheels?
car looks great, i almost bought one a couple years ago. ever thought about buying a GT-V6 spoiler?

 

What bolt pattern are the G6's? I've always liked how they look.

No havnt thought about it but that would be siiik.. I see alot of really fast Cobalt's with the same engine so thats what im really trying to do. I found some OBX headers but not sure how good they are.

Check out ZZP(they have their own forum in the vendor section), they have a fast turbo'd 2.4 and they'll have plenty of parts for you.

 

Yea thats why i came here cause all the ppl on the G6 site, Say o no this and that wont work blah blah what bothers me the most is they dont even drive my car so how they hell would they know? No one even has an intake cause it causes lean codes and you have to get it tuned, so i been told are engines are different some how, basically just really confuses me.
