You are already spending a lot of money for this item. If you don't have access to a testing device or a dragstrip (preferred) try an acceleration from a dead start to a specific identifiable point (like a road sign) AND a high speed test where you floor it from 45 MPH at a certain point in the road and record what speed you hit at another point (like a road sign again) then do the same test with the module in. I'm not a fan of dynos because temp and humidity can affect HP too much if you aren't able to test back-to-back.

Im new here and i have no experience once so ever in tuning. Id sure apreaciate it if some one would aid me in some mild tuning for a 07 2.4 bone stock, I dont want to do any thing to serious because it new and it only has 5,500 miles on it. Preferebly some thing safe and relativley easy!

 

i have my stage 1 chip in hand but i am having issues with that car so i have not put it in yet

The car keeps sputting once i am in drive at at a full stop, gm keeps asking me if i have a highflow filter but i dont.

once i get this fixed i will put chip in and videotape teh hole thing

So how's this "chip" supposed to work anyway? It talks about a plug n play install, generally...Do you just plug into the OBD II and go?

 

According to the sites' write up and picture it is a module that attaches to the ECM under the hood. (between the ECM and harness connectors). If Jet did their homework and it provides some measure of power then who knows.....

PS/BTW its not a chip the chip was used in older cars. jet replaced the chip with what they call the module now. it works with our new computers.
