Cool Cruising speeds

For the trip, the cruising speeds were generally one or two MPH over the speed limit using a GPS for reference. So 67 MPH in Illinois and 71-72 in Indiana and Ohio, except when otherwise posted. Also consider passenger wt - (about 190 lbs), A/C on most of the way, and auto trans.

And I wasn't coasting or drafting.... Also just drove normally - no extreme light acceleration when getting on interstate.

Torque change is noticable as well and i am definitley getting better milage i am running the stage 2 chp with GM intake and exhaust as well as the rk sport ramm air hood.

Cool Mileage not hurt by Jet Module

The primary purpose of the car is short trips to town. I'm more interested in the performance than in mileage. If I was going to take another long (or longer) highway trip, I'd try taking the Jet Chip out just to see what the mileage would be however I never got more than 30 MPG interstate on shorter (150 mile) trips before putting it in so I don't think it really hurt the mileage.

If you go to the Jet Website they have the module and a "performance" MAF listed.

Jet has modules listed for the 2.2 and the 2.4 -- different years. Looks like they dropped referrences to the 2.0.

The guys that bought it said they like it but haven't provided numbers -- dyno or track to back up the performance.

JEGS has it listed at $239 + shipping. I've purchased items from them in the past and they are quick.

yeah me to but at 239 its the cheapest mod i am planning on for my car and if i get anything i will be happy. I should be ordering in...... i am thinking end of may sometime. With the dyno this weekend ($75) and then Boston for the weekend (at least $110 for the air plane ticket) i am going to be spending a lot in May so maybe early June i would like to get it before my friend gets home from Cali.

What to you mean by "snakey"? Could you elaborate on what "snakey" is?

Thanks

what i mean by snakey is that the front end starts to spin and kinda like feels loose , you have to make sur eyour in a grove

as far as testing i have not yet been to the track.
in regards to the guy that asked why i bought a mass ariflow sensor, it is set up for when you use the jet chip, and have a after market intake, it works best with the aftermarket intake

If your getting supercharged I would think youd be much better off with a custom tune, I dont imagine the jet modules are designed for drastic changes like that
