Just Installed my gmmp headers & cat-back

i got my gmmp headers and catback exhaust with the touring tip installed today and i'm totally happy. sounds very fierce with my k&n typhoon intake. i went with the touring tip because i wanted a nice growl but nothing extreme that would grab too much attention (mostly from new york's boys in blue). definitly a HP gain, and definitly compliments the intake nicely.

Welcome to the GMP group! I love the GMP parts out there but after a few mods I realized that GM has a shitty warnity and they will find any reason they can to void it. Thats why I'm about to say **** it and go all out

Sweet, isn't it?

Now get yourself a downpipe, and you'll be fully bolted! (A tune would be pretty nice too )

when i first odered my balt i had them put on the gmmp intake and i hated it so i replaced it with the k&n typhoon. the only reason i went with the gmmp exhaust is because i didnt want to void the warranty on the catalytic converter yet.

I love the GMPP intake! I only have the 2.2 but you can really hear it breathe when you get on it.

I have all the GMPP intake and catback with touring and ZZP header/DP with Magnaflow high flow cat and a tune. Sounds like a beast, sounds more like engine than rice or exhaust because of the amazing header. The tune also got me 11hp.

lol all intakes are the same.. at the wheels the hp only varies by about .1 - .2 hp.. doesnt matter if it cost you 150 or 300.. its basicly all the same.

A catback exhaust is AFTER it... if it went no way they could blame the catback system...

the mechanic who originally put on my gmmp intake told me that if i put on an aftermarket exhaust i would void the warranty on my cat. he also told me that even if i installed the gmmp header and/or exhaust i would void the cats warranty. his main statement is if a checy tech isnt doin the work with chevy parts you will void the warranty on the catalytic converter. this idea doesnt apply to all installs, just the exhaust & cat warranty.

performance wise i think there was a slight difference. the gmmp intake still felt a little restricted, but as far as sound goes the K&N sounds pretty similiar.

No. Sport is louder than touring and cheaper by $100 as well.
