Mine was oiled just fine. No oil on my maf and no CEL. I have had it in for about 7 months now. Sometimes when you get a k and n there will oil all over the rubber parts and the package it came in. You need to wash those filters and re apply a light coat of oil.

A CAI would be the only air related product that could even be slightly considered tampering with the system. A drop in filter voiding the warranty is like saying adding rubber floormats not approved by GM will void it. Watch out for those air fresheners too.

I am pretty sure a part a user must replace with in OE specs cannot void your warrenty...
A high flow air filter will not void your warrenty or else GM would need to give you a new air filter every 20,000 miles...
Same thing is with brakes...

I drive my car really hard and still average 25 around town and 34.5 on the road. That's with the injen cai. It went up about 3 mpg since I put it on. Plus the engine runs about 5 degrees cooler.......
