A little stuck on my road to mod's

Alright i'm getting ready to start modding my car.. my first plans is to do a full exhaust (header/ DP/ catback).

i'm planing on the CA header and CA DP (2.5) with high flow cat. but here is where i'm stuck. for the best perforance would the GMPP catback or the corsa catback be better. i want to get the best perforance i can get out of the exhaust system i put on. also if you know of any other header and DP's i should maybe look at let me know. (i have checked out most of them but if you know of a very nice combo let me know)

Thanks for any help.

I would love to get your similar setup some day too!

I have the SCDyne header on the car. Maybe someday get the CA DP with highflow cat and perhaps the GM Touring exhaust.

Sorry I can't help but good luck! Let us know how things go!

you definetly picked the right header/dp and good price too, there is no performance diff between the catbacks but the gm is sweet. all you need then would be some cams, maybe balance shafts

yea i was not really sure if the .25 (GMPP being 2.25 around and corsa being 2.50) made any difference. guess i'll just have to pick one and go with it.

Do you have any larger mods planned in the future? If so I would go with the Corsa because it is larger piping like mentioned above. If you are gonna stop after exhaust then go with the GMPP. You won't notice a difference until you make significantly more horsepower.

say all you want, but a modded Miata will never here any of it.

There are a couple local guys that run Miatas at the road course events and they are Fing fast!!! That's while NA. They would be insane boosted.

5.0 miata nuf said. anyways back on topic, thats a good combo, like said above if you thinking of going further then just exhaust i'd go for the 2.5 corsa. Once you get the full exhaust, i'd recomend an intake and an ecu tune. The tune w/ full bolt-ons will be a nasty lil na 4 banger

yea i have more plan then just this. this is just where i'm planing to start. intake and tune will come and i will take a look at the cams when they come out. i'm just planing to stay N/A and not boost it.

as for a T/C miata i have seen one here and know the guy that owned it (not sure if he sold it yet but he was looking too). lets just say that the thing was crazy stupid fast..... and it was untuned....... it is the first miata i have ever seen that i would own.

Get the gmpp. Since your n/a and not planning on boosting it there is no since in goin with the corsa. Save the extra $300 or so and put it towards an intake and tune.
