loss of power question

i got an 07 2.4 ss 5 speed only mods i have on it is a k&n intake my car has 30k km on it has had oil changed every 5k.

now for my problems my car in the low rpms has no power from a dig the car lauches very slowly and it never used to be like this im not sure whats going on so much so that i got beat off the line by a 80s rusted out intergra. ive taken it to the dealship and they told me to change my fuel and clean my k&n out and ive done both of that and the problem is still there im thinking about now to change the fuel filter and sparkplugs but the dealership says not to do plugs im not sure if that voids the warrenty or what they will do about it if i change them.
also could it be the clutch slipping and not getting the power to the wheels cause im also have problems getting the car into first and second sometimes not sure if thats normal but its never been a smooth shift seems like syncros or messed up or something
and finally my car runs very hot now it used to run around 84 celcius when i got it and now 2 years later it stays at 88 plus if im stuck in traffic i can see it go from normal temp up to 106celcius im not sure why this temperature change happens but it never used to do that either could different coolent make my car run hotter then it did

Is the k&n installed right and by that i mean everything tight .hose clamps, screws to the filter and is that little hose secure to you valve cover bc if not its probably a vaccum leak

Try seafoaming it. See if that helps.

clean ur maf. if ur filter is over oiled it can build up on there and mess with stuff. they sell aerosol cans of maf cleaner at parts stores. spray a little bit on and let air dry.

not sure what gm recommends but a lot of manufacturers suggest flushing the coolant system yearly. do it urself for the price of the coolant or take it to a shop and pay about $75. if u do it urself remember coolant is toxic to all animals. when ingested it literally makes cells explode. not cool and illegal to just dump it.

a fuel filter should not be clogged after 1-2 years. and spark plugs should still be fine. if either were going bad the first symptom would probably be a rough idle. i would suggest looking to other causes. although it may end up that those are the cause, weirder stuff has happened. and actually check ur plugs before u replace them to save a little money, make sure the gap is right bc that can cause poor mileage, possibly sluggishness, etc.

gm recomends coolant 100k same with plugs fuel filter wouldnt hurt but that dosnt really sound like a fuel filter problem symptoms of a fuel filter would be prolonged cranking while starting

actually dexcool is tested for to be good for 5 years or 100k. i work in a shop and i've seen tons of vehicles come in with 70 - 80k and still going strong with their coolant. mines about 2 1/2 years and the coolant is still as pink as the day i got it and i've got 60,000 on mine

Definatly look at the MAF since you have a K&N with the oiled filter. My next move would be to clear the PCM of adaptive memory and see what happens
