I gotta watch the spending, the misses got positively emotional today about the meth kit lol. If it is still available this fall (early october is my birthday) I'll ****** it for sure, along with that belt tensioner if you still have it. I'd like your 6 rib setup too, but we'll see if I need it with the 2.9/ATI combo. What other goodies you got that don't need to be sold this week?
I happened to sell the SC stuff. A member put down $75 non refundable deposit this weekend and said he would pay in full on Friday too lol. I don't have anything left that would help your build out otherwise. I am just gonna put the bar up for sale on CSS. I have parts all over. Still have to pull my rods/pistons and see what I can get for those too.

Have about 250 miles on her now, amazing how when something is built right it just keeps working. Still haven't tuned, Damper got postponed until Monday as I finally got some solid $$$ numbers from the mechanic for that work done on the old block...$500! And that already subtracts the new ZZP HE, holy ****. He'll have to take the money in 2 installments because I got a meth kit to buy. Hoping to have full payment by tomorrow, I cut up the old block and pulled every dowel and other non aluminum metal so I get top dollar from scrap dealer, 2/3rds off the top if it is 'contaminated' so **** that I even stripped the lnf head I had and punched out the guides and pulled all its plugs so hopefully I can get $60-80 for a cut up ecotec longblock. It is all in cash so we have to deposit to visa and paypal by Monday at the earliest. I'm getting excited! ATF fluid exchange over the weekend, this is almost over for 2012 lol.
Dipped into the boost a couple times, maxs out @ 7psi on 3.1 so win for ported head and cams, just imagine of that zzp 3" exhaust was still on, it would barely touch 5psi. waiting on 2.9 pulley from member here, but hoping I don't need it.
Think my flex pipe has unionized, doesn't sound happy under there so let the mechanical troubleshooting begin! Pretty much why I haven't bother logging, pretty sure I have an exhaust side leak.

LOL so maybe 9ish psi on a 2.9" That is a great port job. Sounds like you have the engine we were both after. Gosh I was going to just throw shiit away, but if I can get a few bucks for scrap I going to do it.
I actually got the go ahead from my girlfriend on an exhaust. Car is so quiet can't stand it. Funny she agreed...no performance note. Have a Magnaflow 3" on the way from TTR.

Not going too wild on my SC install, just a semi daily driver that I like to park and bs at some cruise night type places around me, and show her off some.
And i'd like a little more Ballls than the 2.4 auto trans is giving me currently, none.
I can't wait to get going on this Project.

Finally had the ATI Damper pressed on today, yay. That finally completes the block portion of this build lol.
Picked up 2PSI off the 3.1 all the way to 9! Bet that 2.9 is like 11.5PSI...I'm gonna try it just as soon as she arrives.
Did a couple runs tonight, wanted to see what IAT2s were like on a 75* evening. WOT run peaked at 116*F, I thought that was decent. Up top, she really starts to scream and doesn't run out of air like it did stock block. 500km so far and i've been good but the urge for a couple quickies got the best of me.
Mechanic says he notices it is louder too but couldn't find any exhaust leaks so I am going to look myself and then start WB tuning.

my first kill!
One seriously snotty mega lifted dodge with the turbo cummings, that guy was faster than any rig has a right to be. Had to be chipped, exhaust looked aftermarket as well, he blew black smoke every shift like I see on those crazy 10sec 1/4 mile diesel truck vids.
Shut it down at about 70mph, but hadn't pulled ahead by a mile like I usually do, he kept it pinned and blew on by and then did burnouts in front of me at 55mph...holy ****! And those were monster tires lol!

I just had a Cummings blow black smoke right in my face at an intersection when I was in my car...I know he did it to be a diick. I pulled on one in my HHR last year and he did the same **** in front of me...though he couldn't pull off a burner like that.
Got a good long drive in the Sol this weekend...Hoping the exhaust will bring the boost in faster...whenever that arrives...digs are amazing with this car even on the stock tires, but I still think the hhr was slightly quicker pulling...I am going to the track soon to see what the numbers are like after the exhaust gets here.
I was thinking about that yesterday actually.
Any questions lmk. For a nice clean install, run the lines under the carpet along the driverside and theres a hole in the fire wall(If you haven't used this already) to run wires through. I also ran the switch hose off the brass barb on my intake manifold. Drill and tap the SC inlet where the throttle body connects(where the aluminum is thick) to save some $ otherwise get the plate zzp sells.
