i want a bad mab shorty header and i am going to build a 2.5 " down pipe with no cat for now

other than that the exhaust will be stock will it sound any different ??? difference in power ??

probably ups but you can always call them and confirm that. As far as sound and power difference with header and downpipe with stock exhaust. Yes you'll notice power difference just not as much if you added a catback. Sound levels will be slighty louder but will still sound preatty stock. I have a 4-1 midlength header and 2.5 downpipe connected to my stock exhaust for awhile before i went with a custom 2.5 inch exhaust. I liked the sound because it still sounded stock. Only reason I decided to go with a custom exhaust later was because I also was getting my car trifecta tuned so i wanted every once of hp i could get out of it.

 

got the header on order just need to round up the parts to build a down pipe

I think you're missing the point here. The OP isn't a built car like yours. Your typical DD NA Cobalt without a cat sounds extremely raspy.

haha well i never tried it so no, im not doing it wrong. just letting the op know that a near stock na cobalt sounds very shitty catless. i cant say iver ever heard a good na 4 cylinder catless car.

anyways yeah zzp ships to canada i think

 

i got the cat and pipe for the downpipe rounded up just need the flex pipe and the header to show up and im good to go
