i'd talk with Dan, Allen, and Wes(DJT, Witt, WSfrazer) down in PA before i went to Tune-Time.

they'll build that motor stout and correct, as well as there ability to tune.

after all, that was the vary same shop that calls(ed) the 60's "untuneable"

just a thought.

Where is pgh? i got a quote from tune time for 400 bucks for a full dyno tune. Oh and for #'s at 15psi i did not dyno it, however in theory and on paper it should have been over 300WHP, closer to 320-330whp.

wow, im running 11 psi now and was thinking of getting a boost controller and meth to go up to 12 psi but seems too close to the 15psi breaking point. My tranny is gonna go hopefully before my engine ever does.

you think you bent the rod out of abuse, or an inefficiency in the tune?

afr isn't everything .. what about knock retard, etgs, timing... ? what about all that..

also... what rpms were you at? 150mph..... there's the other reason lol there's no reason to be running 150 mph.. for over 30 seconds ....

Well since i could only see AFR off the gauge in my car i have no idea about the rest 8). And it wasnt 150mph for 30 seconds it was 0-150mph in 30 seconds or whatever the time frame was. Regardless it was WOT @ 15 PSI up till 150mph when the rod blew hahaha.

man, I know a guy that went 150 in his lsj on stage 2 for an extended period of time, he blew his stuff up too. I'm still confident that our internals are robust enough for 15psi.

yea.. going 150 at all will definitely show if your tune has any issues.. considering i dunno anyone who does 5th gear pulls for tuning lol

15psi at 7k might be pushing it a bit hard.. the only thing hahn changed on their car is the valve train.. so they could rev it over that .. NA i have a 7200 rpms

but boosted i'd run to at most 6800 because of fear of float and smacking the pistons.. then bending a rod lol
