need help with tune
i'm installing gmpp exhaust header intake and i read it runs better with a tune do i need the hp tune witch i don't know where to get or is the gm dealer able to tune it

You don't need to tune it just for a header.
You might be able to squeeze some more performance out of it with a new tune, but unless you're changing the cams or going with forced induction, going through the trouble to tune it is a waste of time and money. The GM factory tune is fine.

I disagree, after playing with my tune it has made a nice difference in the mid range and low end. There is always room for improvement. Plus with bolt on’s a 2.4 will see high 90’s or even low 100’s on there IDC’s! And the stock GM tune commands a stupid rich air/ fuel ratio.
