Neon Help!

I have a 2.4L SS Coupe and have installed neon underbody on it and i have this switch under my dash that controls it but i was wondering if anybody knew if it was possible and if possible how to have them turn on and off with the headlights but also be able to turn them off with the switch still? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with the engine and IMHO just leave them off of your car if you want any kind of respect from people who know anything about cars.

hook them up through the headlight relay and then run a jumper wire across the relay switch.

guys, i know i havnt been around for long but when i guy needs help with any topic, dont trash him. i mean, if he wants neons let him have neons. you make like things that others may not, that the idea behind having a custom car. if everyone liked the same thing then there would never be any custom cars. so just help the guy out or just stay out of the thread. I mean no disrespct whatsoever. but to answer your question, just splice the neons in with the headlight lines or the fuse and then throw a switch in the path. not hard to do, you could actually attatch them to your tailights in the trunk, it easy to get to those.

its kinda complicated but its not that hard.

What you need to do is take a relay(sp?) and take one wire and connect it to your head light on/off circiut then take the relays power wire and connect that to the battery or some 12v power sorce....then put your switch on the relays power wire.

that way if you have power going thro the relay via your swich when the head lights come on your neons will come on. and once you flip the swich off the relay will loose power thus shuting your neons off.

you can accomplish this with just a few $$$ and a trip to your local radio shack.
