The only way you'll get a "ricey" exhaust note is if you get a non-resonated cat-back. Also, deleting the cat makes it sound a bit ricer than if you had a high-flow cat, but not to the extreme or anything. I have a CA header/CA 2.5" de-cat downpipe with the ARK N2 cat-back, and its resonated. Its mad loud, and a bit raspy/ricey sounding at WOT in higher RPMs, and I love it. However, I urge you not to get the ARK N2 as im the only 2.4SS on the forum.....and that I know if period.....running the ARK N2 (since it came out back in November baby!), and I like it that way, lol. I was also the 2nd person period to have that exhaust on a 'balt.........2nd only to the tester car, which was a 2.0SS/SC (the car in their video on their site). Not bragging, but im proud of my accomplishment, lol. Thats what constant emailing/calling ARK as soon as you catch wind of it does.

I'd suggest the Corsa or the Magnaflow w/ the CA header and CA highflow cat downpipe for a non-ricey, nice exhaust note. Or if your willing to spend mad money, then the Clear Image long tube header......$750 w/ downpipe........but man that thing is SICK! I would change over to it, but the perforance difference......if any really......between my current header/downpipe setup and the Clear Image long tube just isn't worth $750, lol. Hell, $750 will buy me my Progress rear sway bar and the the Vector Motorsports ECM tune w/ money to spare!
